The activities of the Saudi International Fisheries Exhibition 2024 will start from February 4 to 6 at the Riyadh International Center. The exhibition aims to support developments in the fish sector in the Kingdom. This is considered the largest exhibition specialized in aquaculture, fisheries and seafood.
The Saudi International Fisheries Exhibition 2024 will also be held based on the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture. This is due to the necessity of holding a special exhibition for fish wealth. The National Program for the Development of the Livestock and Fisheries Sector prepared the project.
The exhibition aims to hold a distinguished event to focus on the importance of fish wealth and its sustainability. How can it be benefited from and exploited well to advance the economic sectors associated with it, and to highlight the many advantages of the strategic location of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia?
All of this is done by holding an exhibition that brings together different sectors and activities under one roof, in addition to attracting international experiences and global expertise to discuss emerging topics and issues on the international scene, especially in the field of aquaculture, fisheries, and other fields. The important thing was lost.
In general, the exhibition's objectives are consistent with the Kingdom's new advanced vision, Vision 2030, which aims to scientific discovery and development in various fields, including fisheries. It also aims to compensate for the lack of water resources in the Kingdom through aquaculture methods.
The Kingdom's choice to hold the International Fisheries Exhibition came especially after the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's economy was classified among the strongest economies in the world. As a member of the G20. Saudi Arabia owns 18.1% of the world’s proven oil reserves, ranking second in the world. It has the fifth largest proven natural gas reserves, and it is a member of OPEC.
